Shirley

We want to tell you how sad we are about Doyle. God only knows how he suffered and fought so long and hard to stay with us awhile longer. We can't imagine how much you will miss him but there is comfort in knowing you were the best wife and prolonged his life much longer than the Doctors thought possible. Now we know that he is not suffering any more and is resting in heaven. We will allways miss him and our thoughts and prayers will allways be with you.

Hi Shirley,

It is difficult to find the comforting words you need at this time. But, you can rest assured God will strengthen you to stand this trial and separation from your dear husband. We shared a good friendship and cherish our memories of our visits with Doyle (and you.) You should find comfort in knowing you were such a dedicated and perserving caregiver to him. Take care & God bless you, Love, Denny & Betty

Shirley, i'm so sorry for your loss.I've had sevral deaths around me lately. i have found a really good arthur called Mitch Albom he wrote thusdays with Morrie and the five people you meet in heaven these books have helped me. Here is a quote from one of the books, "Lost love is still love it takes a different form thats all. you can't see there smile or bring them food or tossle their hair or move them around the dance floor. but when those senses weaken another heightens. MEMORY Memory becomes your partner. You nature it, you hold it, you dance with it. Life has to end but love doesn't. Ilove you take care of yourself love always vickie

Shirl,

I hope you know how sorry Mark and I are for not being able to be there with you during this time. You were in (and still are) our thoughts and prays every minute. Mark wants you to know how much we love you. And I want you to know that if there was ever an angel on earth it is you, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for my Uncle Doyle and for everything that you had to sacrifice. When you said for better or worse, in sickness and in health you went above and beyond what anyone else would have endured. Again thank you so much if not for you we would have lost him years ago. I have nothing but wonderful memories of times that I have spent with him and you and thank God that I have them. From Lurly Jean, and all the food with a funky taste, and sneaking off with him while you were out to get Ale 8, RC, and moonpies(and we had to make sure we threw all the trash away at the gas station so you wouldn't find them). I love you Aunt Shirley and I know you will be alright because now you have your very own angel to watch over you. Please come see us.

We love you,

Cammie, Mark, Gabe, and Abby
