Wilmore, Kentucky - The farming community of Jessamine County has lost another lifelong member. Edward Thompson Elliott, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 7, 1935, to Jack and Elizabeth Elliott. He was a long-time member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and served in many capacities. He dedicated his life to working the family farm on Harrodsburg Road.

Edward is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Elliott Agee (Steve), his son David C. Elliott (Pattie); his grandchildren, J.W. Elliott, Ashley Seward, Nicole Marsee (David), Kendall Simpson (Tyler), Tyra Barnett (Zack), Amanda Sberna (Ted), David T. Elliott (Meagan) as well as eleven great-grandchildren. He was lovingly provided for by his Caretaker Carol Locker Holbrook . He is preceded in death by Mary Hillman Elliott and son, Jack Elliott.

Visitation will be 4pm-7pm on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, Wilmore, KY. A funeral service will be conducted by Glenn Spann and Nathan Elliott at 1pm Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the church. The family will serve as pallbearers. Burial to follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. clarklegacycenter.com
