Dr. Ford was a true Stateman for the State of Kentucky, especially his dedication for the children of the Commonwealth. He always stood for the right way or issue no matter the consequences of his stand. He certainly was supportive and provided guidance to those involved in Education Reform. He will certainly be missed. Dr. Ford, thank you for what you believed in, risks that you took to make the future better for Kentucky's Children and Citizens.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ford family at this time. Dr. Ford was a perfect "Southern Gentleman". He will be sadly MISSED, but he will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. He was a very kind and gracious person. He has joined Dorothy in Heaven.

Dr. Ford was a great man and a wonderful legislator. Those in the Senate today could learn a lot from him. May you rest in peace.
