Don't know why I thought of Frank today, but I did. I was his nurse at the doctor's office for many years and always, always enjoyed visiting with him. Valerie too. I pray Melissa is in good loving care and send my best to your family. RIP Frank

We have been searching for Frank for over 40 years and sadly could find no information until coming across this obituary. Frank was stationed in California and was an usher in our wedding in 1955. We remained friends and were stationed with him in England where we attended his marriage to Valerie. We are devastated with the news that we missed re-connecting with him again by two months. What fun we would have had together. We have wonderful memories of times spent with him and know he will be missed by all of you.
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of a special part of your family.

The Henry Clay class of 1953 was much improved by Frank Hargett.
How could one be downcast with the bubbling happiness from Frank. He kept everyone upbeat.
We are fortunate to have known him.
God Bless the family & friends of Frank & his wonderful little British Bride !

Frank was one of the driving forces behind the success of the UK Alumni Club of Colorado. He loved Derby time and worked tirelessly compiling the info on the horses and jockeys to make our party a success. A little of the spirit of the Club left when he moved to Lexington but he was a proud Ky. fan. He will be missed.
