Lexington, Kentucky - Geary D. Caliguiri, 70, husband of Mickey Caliguiri passed away peacefully on Tues., December 15, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on Feb. 22, 1950 in McKees Rocks, PA to the late Joseph and Emily Caliguiri. Geary worked at Kmart for over 25 yrs and Lexmark for 11 yrs. He was a lifelong Steelers fan, an active member of Southern Hills UMC and an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mickey Caliguiri; two daughters, Jodi (Tobin) Anderson, Blauvelt, NY and Julie (Ryan) West, Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Bryce and Alexa Anderson, Blauvelt, NY, Brody, Raegan and Cooper West, Lexington, KY; Siblings, Robert (Kate) Caliguiri, Washington Township, MI, Cammie Brooks, Chalfont, PA and Shelly (Billy) Geyer, Perkasie, PA; numerous nieces, nephews and friends with whom he was very close and had a special relationship. He is preceded in death by one sister, Terene (George) Julius. A live stream service will be on Southern Hills United Methodist Church Lexington, KY Facebook page at 5pm, Tues. December 22, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society or Southern Hills UMC in Lexington, KY. clarklegacycenter.com

I really enjoyed knowing him when I worked at Kmart. He was a wonderful District Manager and he always made me feel at ease when we talked about work. He will be missed and I will always consider him my friend.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Caliguiri was a wonderful man. He was my District Manager when I work for Kmart. Always enjoyed his visit to our store in Richmond, Ky.

Geary made a impression on my as well my wife when we owned the Little Debbie distributorship in Versailles when he opened the store as manager after he stepped down as area manager over the area's stores as a very sharp as well as kind and considerate person. We have always looked back fondly on that part of our lives with him being one of the better people we dealt with in business as well as personally.
