Dear God, Please wrap Your warm and loving arms around this family while they grieve for their beloved husband, father and grandfather and give them strength to deal with this loss. Amen
My children, Aubrey and Johnda Maffett were fortunate enough to have Geno as their T-ball coach and to play with Brian Todd and David. He was not only a great coach, but a great man to know. Thank You Geno for surprising us with Santa Claus and being such a wonderful person. Thank you God for allowing us to know such a fine man.

We were so saddened to hear of Geno's passing. He was a gift to children, with his knowledge of sports. Our first experience started with T-ball some 25 plus years ago. We also experienced Geno/Santa one Christmas--what a wonderful memory, along with many other memories! Geno had a heart of gold and will be missed deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sayre Family in their time of grief.

Geno was an amazing man. We had the great pleasure of knowing him through youth baseball and as a personal friend. Many good memories from the baseball field. One of my favorite memories is Geno coming to our home during Christmas dressed as Santa to surprise Alex. My thoughts and prayers to the family for your loss.

Geno was my coach for the Dodgers. He was also my coach for two World Series teams. After playing into college Geno was my favorite coach i ever played for. He was a great man and a bundle of fun to be around. He could always make me laugh and loved all the kids he got to coach. As you get older you appreciate people like Geno Sayre more. Terrible loss and my heart aches for BT and the rest of the family.
