Dear God, Please wrap Your warm and loving arms around this family while they grieve for their beloved husband, father and grandfather and give them strength to deal with this loss. Amen
My children, Aubrey and Johnda Maffett were fortunate enough to have Geno as their T-ball coach and to play with Brian Todd and David. He was not only a great coach, but a great man to know. Thank You Geno for surprising us with Santa Claus and being such a wonderful person. Thank you God for allowing us to know such a fine man.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Geno since he worked at Donnie's parking lot with my brother Jerry. I also went to school with him at Morton Junior High and also Henry Clay High school. I later worked with him at I.B.M. I remember my first day there I was very nervous and then I saw Geno and everything was okay.My prayers are with Mary and the family. May the wonderful memories GOD has blessed you with be your strength.I was proud to call him my friend. I never saw him without a smile. God bless the family.

Words cannot express our sorrow upon hearng of Geno's passing. One of Trsh's friends was one of Geno's nurses. She called to tell us about him. Our hearts go out to your family during this time of sorrow and grief. You are in our prayers. We have such fond memories of our annual Christmas get togethers. Geno was a part of those times for many, many years. He will be sorely missed. God bless you and your family and may He keep you safely in His arms. He will give you strength and love forevermore. We were so saddened to hear of Geno's passing. He was a gift to children, with his knowledge of sports. Our first experience started with T-ball some 25 plus years ago. We also experienced Geno/Santa one Christmas--what a wonderful memory, along with many other memories! Geno had a heart of gold and will be missed deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sayre Family in their time of grief.

Geno was an amazing man. We had the great pleasure of knowing him through youth baseball and as a personal friend. Many good memories from the baseball field. One of my favorite memories is Geno coming to our home during Christmas dressed as Santa to surprise Alex. My thoughts and prayers to the family for your loss.

Geno was my coach for the Dodgers. He was also my coach for two World Series teams. After playing into college Geno was my favorite coach i ever played for. He was a great man and a bundle of fun to be around. He could always make me laugh and loved all the kids he got to coach. As you get older you appreciate people like Geno Sayre more. Terrible loss and my heart aches for BT and the rest of the family.
