Lexington, Kentucky - Gregory Dennis "Buck" Buckley, 86, passed away at home on November 14, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on November 9, 1939, in the Bronx, New York.
He earned a BA degree from Rutgers University with a major in Economics and minors in Philosophy and Political Science. He then received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Bloomington School of Law.
Gregory was a Partner at Buckley and Frost before opening his own private law practice. He also served as the State of Indiana Securities Commissioner.
Gregory was a member of Mount Horeb Presbyterian Church in Lexington, KY where he found spiritual fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Berry-Buckley; niece Beverly Toth and husband Rich; sister-in-law Betty Buckley; niece Emily Bittner and husband Chris; sister-in-law Kim Kramer and husband Jerry; as well as a host of great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John Beecher Buckley; mother Emily Enstrom Buckley; brothers John Buckley and Bruce Buckley; and sister Beverly McNaughton.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mount Horeb Presbyterian Church, 2793 Iron Works Pike, Lexington, KY.
