Paris, Kentucky - Hazel Hill Kenney, 88, of Paris died Sun, July 10, 2022. She was born Jan 5, 1934 in Paris, daughter of the late Milton and Frances Hill. Hazel worked for Hinkle Construction Co.of Paris for many years. She then moved to Dayton, OH and worked for Jackson Cable Co. After retiring, she moved back to Paris. In 2005 at the age of 71, Hazel graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in business. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Shirley Hill of Ruddles Mill, KY, Edna Hill of Bedford, KY; a special friend, Bill Moore; and all of her nieces and nephews. Her love of cats led her to become one of the founders and the president of Feline Lifelines, Inc. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her two brothers, Milton Hill, William Hill; and three sisters, Cora Hughes, Ruby Sullivan, and Helen Hafley. She was a member of First Christian Church of Paris. Visitation will be 11am. Fri, July 15, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by the funeral service will be 1pm with Rev. Sharon Fields officiating. Interment will be in Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana.
