Intha Wright Burke

VIRGIE - Intha Wright Burke of Beefhide Creek, KY died at her home on July 19, 2008. Intha was born at Mc Roberts, KY on December 7, 1927 the daughter of King Solomon Wright and Mary Elizabeth Brown Wright. She is survived by two sons; Randy (Patricia) Burke of Beefhide and Michael (Sona) Burke of Beefhide, three daughters; Sandy Gasner of Beefhide, Sheila (Dennis) Sampson of Jenkins, KY and Karen Murphy of Pikeville, KY. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Burke , and one son, Jerry Burke. She was preceded in death by four brothers; Jesse Wright, Ken Wright, Paul Wright, and Grant (Emma) Wright of Prattville, Alabama, two sisters; Lorraine (Elmer) Burke, and Martha Jo Tackett, both of Virgie. Intha was a faithful member of the Beefhide First Alliance Church. Funeral services will be held 1pm Tue at the First Alliance Church with Peter Leonovich officiating. Burial will follow in the John Cook Cemetery of Beefhide. Visitation will begin after 6pm Sun, services 7pm Mon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hall & Jones Funeral Home of Virgie.
