I felt a personal loss when I learned about Jimmy's death.. somehow a piece of my childhood feels like it has slipped away forever. But that's not so.. I am honored to write what a happy part he plays in my memories. Just hearing his name still makes me smile after all these years. Jimmy, Mark and Paul made Tates Creek a blast! From playground kick ball, spin the bottle, and skipping school, to all those jokes he told..it was the time before we all had to grow up and face life's many pressures. Thanks to him and others, it was truely the most enjoyable part of my childhood. I'll never forget what a nice guy Jimmy was to me and all the fun we had "back in the day".

I was very saddened to hear of Jimmys passing, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew jim, I have very fond memories of Tates Creek Sr. High, trying to stay clear of JD, or hanging out in Mrs. Lyons class, or a carload of us skipping class and taking a ride in the country. Class of 84.

I was a friend of Jimmy's from years back, and what I remember most of Jimmy is his heartwarming smile and his easy way of making people laugh. I know from talking with Cheryl, that Jimmy loved you and his children so very deeply. Keep the GREAT memories of your years with Jimmy very close to your heart and those memories are the ones that will sustain you. Our Lord will watch over you and your children and He will make certain that you are a survivor, so that your children will thrive on your love, and you will thrive from their love.
