I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, but did have the distinct pleasure of the family of his brother's company as a kid in 1980. Wonderful bunch of people, and I'm sure James was of the same ilk. My condolences and best wishes to all. Scott.

Fortunate is the person who lives life with passion! And that describes Jim Harris, who had unlimited passion for so many things! Construction and crews, music, early and large tomatoes, family history, traveling, love and history of downtown Lexington, Farmers' Market, his church, UK, friends, and most importantly his family, especially Jane and Rachel! Jim lived life in a large way and we were so fortunate to be along for the ride! What Jim kept quiet and private was his service to others. We are forever grateful for the many hours of love, wisdom, and guidance he personally provided us when we were struggling. Oh, how we loved and will miss this man! Our love and prayers are with Jane, Rachel, and family.
