James A. Morris
March 30, 1925 - May 5, 2022
Lexington , Kentucky - James A. Morris (97), of Lexington, husband of the late Jo Ann (Safreed) Morris, died May 5, 2022, after a sudden illness. A retired federal government employee, Mr. Morris was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Morris is survived by his daughter Mary Carole Highlander (Brian), two granddaughters, Brittany Parker (Seth), and Ashley Trenzeluk (Tony), great-grandchildren Nash Taylor Parker, Theo James Trenzeluk, Olivia Sinclair Parker, sister-in-law Mary Lou Kordenbrock, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Fannie Lovell Morris, and five siblings, Christine Large, Gertrude Drew, Geneva, Robert Morris, and Irene Morris. Funeral arrangements will be held at Milward – Man O'War on Monday, May 16, 2022. Visitation begins 12:00pm with funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
