Jessie Rhodus Obituary

Jessie Price Rhodus, 72, resident of Hwy. 643 Crab Orchard, KY, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born December 6, 1930 in Madison County to the late Burnam and Ida Rhodus. He was a horseman and farmer. Two sons, Gary B. and Larry F. Rhodus; a brother, Carl Rhodus and a sister, Molly King preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Connie Rhodus, Crab Orchard, KY; daughter, Barbara Brumett, Lexington, KY; son, Jason Rhodus, Bardstown, KY; brother, Earl (Bunny) Rhodus, Richmond, KY; 3 sisters, Christine (Harold) Gilliam, Somerset, KY, Virginia (Gilbert) Clark, Lancaster, KY, Agnes (Dean) Purcell, Garrard Co.; 3 grandchildren, Kathy Hayes, Angie Brumett and Brennan Rhodus; 3 great grandchildren, Dustin E. Hayes, Jesse W. Hayes and Destiny Brumett. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Ramsey Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Frank Foster. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dustin E. and Jesse W. Hayes, George Preston, Jim Petrey, Woody Barnes and Jimmy Nuckolas. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Ramsey Funeral Home. Guest book at Legacy.com.
