John Bell Obituary

PARIS John Reynolds "Dusty" Bell, 74, Bourbon County Deputy Sheriff, farmer, and retired IBM employee, husband of Pat Nallinger Bell, died Wed, Feb 12, 2014 at his home. He was born May 23, 1939 in Paris, son of the late Reynolds T. and Mary Kathryn "Kitty" Young Bell. Dusty was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended the University of Kentucky, a U.S. Army veteran, and was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to his wife, Dusty is survived by two daughters, Betsy Bell, Linda (Dean) Yost; six grandchildren, Thomas Mason, Kitty Claire Mason, Logan Bunch (fianc e, Hannah Lanter), John (Maggie) Bunch, Nikki Yost, Eric (Allie) Bunch; a great grandchild, Jayden Mason; and a sister, Mary Sue Giljam. Funeral services will be 11am Fri, Feb 14, at the First Christian Church by Rev. Jeff Bell with burial in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thu at the church. Pat,
I am so sorry to hear about Dusty. I had previous engagements and was unable to attend visitation. Dusty and I had developed a close frienship that started at IBM and continued throughtout our retirements. Once again, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Wayne Whalen: So sorry to hear about John,we use to ride to school together every morning and we lived close together and we shared good times together,especially the class trip to Washington.
