LEXINGTON, Kentucky - John L. Hoagland Sr (Lucky), passed peacefully on October 10, 2025. John was born March 13, 1942 to the late Nell Francis and John Edward Hoagland, in Louisville, Ky. John is survived by his loving wife, Paula Hoagland (Hemingway), their children Stephanie (Norm) Shaver, John Jr. (Meribeth) Hoagland, Jennifer (Stephen) Caudill. Their family included 8 grandchildren, and spouses, and 6 great grandbabies and a blessing on the way. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 followed by fellowship and lunch from 1-3 pm at Milward- Man O' War, 1509 Trent Blvd., Lexington, KY. Everyone is encouraged to wear your UK fan gear and casual attire. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice. www.milwardfuneral.com
