LUSTER John O., age 90, Lexington, KY died Wed, Oct 1, 2014 at Thomason-Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, KY. Born June 22, 1924 in Al, WV, Greenbrier Co. to the late Nannie Park and Lawrence Luster he was a World Wart 11 Army Veteran, with an Honorable Discharge. He worked for the United States Postal Service. where he later retired. He was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Thelma Martin Luster, Stepfather, Evans Parks, and his Aunt Jessie. He is survived by a sister, Jo Ann Parks, a special uncle, William Allen Sr. cousin Paul Anderson and a host of cousins other relatives and friends. Service 11am Sat, Oct 11, 2014 and visitation 10am at Smith & Smith Funeral Home.
