It will be odd coming into Magee's and not seeing Mrs. Higgins behind the desk with her glasses hanging around her neck, wrapping cookies, filling orders or throwing her hands up in a motherly fashion when a young employee messed-up...for the 7th time. She raised 2 great kids and ran the bakery the only way she knew how after losing her husband Ralph. Magee's longevity and success are testament to her and her family's efforts. Rest Mrs. H., play your piano, no more deposits.
