Karl K. Lusk

PARIS - Karl K. Lusk, 94, Paris KY, died Mon evening in Paris after a three year's illness. He was a native of Paris, US Navy veteran of WWII, serving as Beachmaster at Omaha Beach after the D-Day invasion, a retired funeral director and embalmer, and former officer/ stockholder of Lusk Funeral Homes, Paris and Millersburg KY. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Paris, and was active in many civic organizations and activities during his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Ruby Plummer Lusk, his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Marty Lusk White, Paris; a son, Karl Lusk, Jr. (Anne), New Haven KY; four grandchildren, Katherine L. Elkin (Larry), Elizabeth Lusk Yohman (Chris), both of Charleston SC, Rebecca White Morganfield KY, James White, Bowling Green KY; a stepgrandson, Tim Mallory (Dee), Lexington, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Paris KY, at 11am Sat, March 7. Visitation is from 2-7pm Fri at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main Street, Paris KY.
