Kenneth Mayer

1930 - 2015

MAYER Kenneth E., 85, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. He was born February 15, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. Kenneth served in the Korean War, graduated from Pace College and was a retired partner at Miller, Mayer, Sullivan and Stevens, LLP Certified Public Accountants. He was a member of the Lions Club, the ACLU, an avid fan of the Cincinnati Opera, frequent blood donor and a faithful volunteer with Meals on Wheels Second Presbyterian Church. Kenneth was a member of the Lexington Jewish Community, served on the board of the Central Kentucky Jewish Federation and was a member of Ohavay Zion Synagogue. He is survived by his wife Annette, daughter Michele, son Mike (Amy), two grandchildren Elliott Jacob and Madison Brooke, sister Barbara Kobrick (Stuart), brother William, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday beginning at 12pm followed by a Funeral at 1pm, Milward-Broadway. Interment will be at the Lexington Cemetery.
