Kevin Joiner Obituary
June 14, 1967 - March 31, 2021
Lexington, Kentucky - Kevin Wayne Joiner, 53, of Lexington, Kentucky and formerly of Hopkinsville, died on March 31, 2021 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on June 14, 1967, the son of the late Ray Wilson Joiner and Barbara Jean Menser Joiner. Survivors include his half brother, Steven D Joiner, of Crossville, TN, three aunts, and one uncle. Kevin was a 1985 graduate of Hopkinsville High School. He was currently employed as a Lecturer of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. He was also previously employed by Georgetown College, Anderson University, and Vanderbilt University. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and was of the Catholic Faith. The family has chosen cremation with an Interment of the Cremains Service to be held at 1 p.m. on May 1, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY. Father Richard Meredith of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church will be officiating.
