Elder Lewis and Family, my prayers go out to you and your family. When I attend the Liberation Revival @ Lima Dr SDA, Brother Lewis was one of the first person I remember greeting me. He always had a smile and a hug for me. Our 1st Sabbath meal was an invite from you and Brother Lewis. He will be greatly missed and I pray God strength for you and the family. You know that I love you. Thanks for being my sister and friend in Christ.

Larry and I worked together in the sheet metal shop for Raytheon in Richmond. Larry was a good friend and very helpful in whatever way he could be. I was always aware of Larry's faith because he was always vocal about the wisdom that was obtained from bible study. He was a kind and thoughtful man and will be missed by many of the friends he made here at L-3/Raytheon.
God, please accept your servant Larry unto you. May you bless and keep his family strong.

I am employed at Community Ventures Corporation, where I had the opportunity to meet and work with LD on several projects. Although I only knew LD a short time, he made a great impact on me. Everyday, he stopped by my office to say a kind word, and share an inspirational thought or message. When he found I was struggling with my own faith and church membership, he extended an invitation to his church, offered copies of his Sabbath School lessons, and directed me to various books and scriptures. He was a kind and gentle man, and I always appreciated his concern and sincerety. I was truly blessed to have known him. May God continue to bless you as well.

LD was a true gentleman, a very rare thing these days. Amidst the world of strong ethics and moral character, there is now a gaping hole, and among his friends, he will be sorely missed.
