Lena Mae Howard

MT. STERLING - Lena Mae Risner Howard, 85, Jeffersonville, died Sat., July 9, 2005, at Mary Chiles Hospital. She was a native of Magoffin County, the daughter of the late Estill and Nellie Montgomery Risner, the widow of Dillard Howard, and is survived by three daughters, Bernice Short, Jeffersonville, Mary Louise Booth, Parrott Marie Sapp, Carlisle; nine sons, George Risner, Findley, OH, Marvin Risner, Eddie Howard, Dillard Howard Jr., Paul Howard, Jeffersonville, Ernie Risner, Salyersville, Ira Howard, Roscoe Howard, Carlisle, Samuel Howard, Jeffersonville; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and one sister, Edith Holbrook, IN. She was preceded in death by three sons, Columbus Gene Risner, Goble Howard, Billy Joe Howard; two brothers, Estill Lee Risner, James Lindon Risner. Services 11 am Tues. at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals. Burial in Patrick Family Cemetery, with Wayne Gifford and Bobby Stone preciding. Visitation Mon., 6 - 9 pm, at the funeral home.
