Elaine was married to my Dad's brother Uncle Warren. The most profound memory that I have of Uncle Warren and Aunt Elaine was born when I went to spend some time with them as a teen. The guest bedroom was close to theirs and I remember that after they were in bed and the lights were out for the night, I could hear the talking with one another about their day. I understand that this was a ritual with them nightly. What a great example!!! We were also amazed to learn that they had NEVER had an argument. In retrospect, each had a gentle sweetness of nature about them that drew folks in. With Elaines' passing marked the end of their generation within our family. She will surely be missed.... To all who knew and loved her, she will be sorely missed. Count me among them. She was apart of my life at Calvaryfor a long ,long time.

I am very sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. She was friends of my grandmother, Bernice Spurrier. She was such a lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
