Mary Cannon Obituary

CANNON Mary Loretta, 89, died suddenly, Dec 23, 2007, at the St. Joseph Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Johnson and Pete Vinegar, and widow of John R. Cannon Sr. As a faithful member of the Main Street Baptist Church, Lexington, she served as Church Mother, Coordinator of the Saturday Prayer Group and Sunday School teacher. A graduate of the Kentucky State College, she was a former employee of the Lexington Army Depot, and a retiree of the Sears Department Stores. Survivors include her two children, Jessica Cannon, Lexington, and John Jr. (Sheila), Dayton OH, two grandchildren, Eric and Angel Cannon, and one great granddaughter, Jovani Carter. The Service of Remembrance will be Mon Dec 31, 2007 at 11am at the Main Street Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9:30-11am Mon at the church.
