Hey my PrettyBoy. Remember when we first met at ACS and you would always talk about being a politician and I never thought u would pursue it? How wrong I was. I love you and I miss you and I hope we meet again soon dear friend :) I'll never ever forget you and make sure to live out the rest of my days "Fabulous Darling" like you always told me to. Matt I wish we had talked more since the last time I seen you. I would pass you in your car all the time and neve really thought anything about it because I was always so busy. Now I regret not talking to you more. I miss you and love you. Rest in Peace friend. You are missed by many.

Matt I had just got to know you and admired the man I got to know. You left this world too early. I don't think you realized how many people loved you and had so much admiration for all that you had done in this world. We were so devestated to hear the news. Matt was one of our great friends whom we loved very much and spent some time with. Just last sunday Matt joined us on our wedding day and gave us a gift along with the most beautiful card which we look at daily. He always fought for our rights and was a great person inside and out. He will be missed more than he will ever know. We will miss that bright smile always. Praying for Matt's family~

I have no idea what I'm going to do without you. You were my best friend, and you were always there when I needed you... I knew that even if I had no one else, I could *always* count on you. I wish that you could have just fast-forwarded 24 hours to the vigil to see how many people loved you, cared about you, and would have done anything within their power to help you. Matt was a true friend and a blessing to have known. It breaks my heart to know that a man such as himself had to go so young. I meet Matt during our time in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. I knew him to be a strong young man who had a lot of passion for the things he believed in. To his family (especially his mother) you are all in my prayers. Our hearts are broken by the news about Matt. It seems like only yesterday that we were neighbors in Hazard. Matt was such a handsome, kind, and compassionate young man. I remember our late nights at J. Peterman, and we had a blast. You were such a an inspiration to me, and even though you were only 5 months older than me, you were such an old soul. I never met your Mom, but I know how much you loved her, and how much fun you all had together. You will always be in my heart and soul. (I wish I could've been there for you, to show you how much you were and always will be loved!) I love you Matt!
