To the family of Nancy Fister:

I am a patient of Michelle Wrightson. As a consequence, I would usually see Nancy before my appointments with Michelle. My 17 January 2006 appointment with Michelle was the first I learn of Nancy's death. I was stunned.

I knew Nancy went through a lot caring for her husband Spanky until his death in April 2005.

My condolences to you, Nancy's family, and to you, Nancy's coworkers.

It is with much, much sadness and sorrow to learn that Nancy had passed. She was a wonderful person and even though we did not see one another often, she was no stranger when we met. She will never be forgotten.

With heartfelt sympathy and prayer for all the family and friends- On the drive home after the funeral, reflecting on the words of the homily(sermon) about Jesus weeping to see Nancy in her greif and how He set her free from that greif and pain to be with Spanky in Heaven, was moving and comforting. The mass was beautiful and the presence of the Holy Spirit was undeniable providing peace and grace.

May God's love continue to work in your lives and profide you comfort throughout the coming weeks and beyond. .

Karen,

Katie and I have you in our thoughts and our prayers. There are no great words to say in a time of such tremendous loss. But God is holding you and your family in the palm of his hand as you walk through this path of sadness. You will always have the memories of all the wonderful times you have had with your Mother and Father. No one can take the memories away. Now both of your parents are your guardian angels that are watching over you as you walk through the path of life.

Peace always,

Barbara Murray

I offer my prayers for Nancy and the entire Fister family. Over the years I came to know Spanky and Nancy as caring, generous, compassionate people who truly made a difference in the lives of so many.
