Otis Blackburn Obituary

NICHOLASVILLE - Otis G. Blackburn, 79, passed away at his home in Nicholasville, KY, on Thurs. Sept. 29, 2005. He was born April 17, 1926 in Pikeville, KY, the son of the late Wallace and Dora Ratliff Blackburn. He was a Korean War Veteran and former POW Left to mourn his passing are his wife, JoAnn Maynard Blackburn, a son, Glen R. Blackburn, a daughter, Marcia Brumlow, a granddaughter, Shanna Hess and a great-granddaughter, Katie Hess all of Nicholasville and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. We have loving memories of our dear husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be sadly missed by all that loved him. Funeral services will be 11 am, Sat. at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Minister Leon Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8: pm, Fri. at the funeral home. Guestbook at Legacy.com
