LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Pat was born in Jenkins, Kentucky to John W. Craft and Juanita Craft. For eight years, Pat fought a very determined fight against dementia, but went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 31, 2023. During the last eight years of her life on earth, she continued to make new friends and it was a joy to be in her presence. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her before the illness that ended her life and those who only met her in her final years after the disease had started taking its toll.
She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, John C. Bartlett, who loved her more than life itself. She is also survived by her daughter from a prior marriage, Robin Patrice Myers of Lexington, Kentucky and a stepson Gerald McDowell Bartlett (Julie) of Harriman, Tennessee as well a sister Peggy Sexton (Mike) of Jenkins, Kentucky and a brother Goebel Craft (Sherry) of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by two special friends Beth Myers and Alex Myers of Estero, Florida.
After graduating from Jenkins High School, Pat spent most of her life in Lexington where she made many lifetime friends. Until dementia started its progression, she was a fastidious housekeeper and an excellent cook. She loved going to the grocery and also loved shopping for clothes and items for the house. She made many trips out of the country with her husband and lived for two years in the Philippines where she made many local Filipino friends.
Pat will be missed by all, but especially by her immediate family.
Visitation for Pat will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, August 7th at Milward – Man O 'War located at 1509 Trent Blvd. Service will begin at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 8th at Milward's with entombment to follow at Lexington Cemetery.
