Paul Donaldson Ross Jr.

ROSS, Paul Donaldson Jr., 46, went home to the Lord on Sun., July 18, 2004. Born in Lexington, the son of Paul D. and Joyce Ross, Paul was a talented musician who excelled on the guitar. In past years he played lead guitar with several local bands, and in recent years was active as a studio musician. Paul's skill as a guitarist extended to many musical styles. He was proficient in jazz, rock, R & B, reggae and zouk music, and his great expertise extended equally to both acoustic and electric guitar. Those who had the pleasure of playing with "P.R" or listening to him play will never forget the experience, and the passion and power he exuded through his skillful musicianship. Paul was also an accomplished computer technician, having earned a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from RETS Electronic Institute. He was a longtime employee of Gorrell's Computer Service. Paul was a member of Southland Christian Church. Besides his parents, Paul is survived by his brother, Douglas (Michele) Ross, his sister, Jeanne (Robby) Stamper, and his beloved niece, Sara Stamper. Paul's great sense of humor, big laugh and even bigger heart will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thurs., at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Rev. Greg Chandler and Rev. Todd Layne with burial following in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
