Pete was my first friend in Kindergarten. Even at five years old he demonstrated the characteristics that defined him...kindness, integrity, intelligence and blushing cheeks of humility. My sincerest sympathy goes out to his family and to Mrs. Pryor. Rest in peace dear heart.

Of course Joyce Fogleman so eloquently communicated my thoughts exactly. I also worked with Pete for many years at Lane's End Farm typing his veterinary notes that he would leave on tapes for me in the "milk box" outside the office. Kind, compassionate, strong, yet gentle; Pete exuded honesty, integrity, loyalty, extreme work ethic, and perhaps best of all that wonderful sense of humor and wit through good times and bad. God Bless you my good friend! My thoughts and prayers go out to Lucie, "B" and Alden.

I have known Pete for many years from our work at Lane's End and so enjoyed his intellect, his kindness, his humor, his compassion and strength - he was a great gentleman. I will miss him and send my thoughts to his family.
