Robert Biddle Obituary

PARIS - Robert Bernard Biddle, 90, U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired civil service employee, husband of Ruby Farris Biddle, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1922 in Fayette County, son of the late Rolla Rex and Minnie Boone Biddle. Robert was a graduate of Paris High School and was a member of Southland Christian Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jeff (Ellen) Biddle, Lexington, Steven (Carmen) Biddle, Paige, TX, Max Farris (Mae Jo) Biddle, Cynthiana; a daughter, Tracey (Scott) Stratton, Dallas, TX; sister, Helen Harney, WY; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice and Paul Biddle; and two sisters, Josephine Eads and Dortha Stull. A memorial service will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 28, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Richard Baugh. Visitation will be after 12pm Tuesday. I am sorry to hear of your loss Jeff,we worked together for many years and I heard you speak of your Dad a lot,I know he will be missed and also I thank him for his service,god bless you and your family at this difficult time.
