Robert Pollard Obituary

POLLARD Robert L., 69, husband of Linda Booter Pollard, died Fri, Sept.1, 2006 at his residence. He was vice-president of J.J.B. Hilliard and W.L. Lyons Inc. Born in Frankfort, KY, he was a son of the late Jesse Lee and Lillian Hudson Pollard. He was a graduate of U.K., a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and played on the UK baseball team. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church , Keeneland Club, Past-President of Lexington Country Club and the Lexington Club, a U.K. Fellow, served as Vice-President Lexington Chamber of Commerce and was a former Jaycee. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt, golf, ski and fish. Besides his wife of 46 years, he is survived by a daughter, Robin Pollard Seale (Jerry), Lexington; a son, Robert Lee Pollard, Jr. (Allison), Lexington; five grandchildren, J. Evan Seale, Eric Hudson Seale, Robert "Bo" Pollard III, Bradley Pollard and Hannah Pollard; one step granddaughter, Virginia Seale; and three nephews and a niece.
