An inspiring and challenging professor, who demonstrated total dedication to the study of the Bible and prodded us to think, to ask questions, to observe carefully and diligently, to dig deeply, in order to discover for ourselves the message of the Word of God. I think I took almost every class Dr. Traina taught. I could never get enough of his classes! What inspiration! Our recent published book, LifeChanging Bible Study which is used at Asbury College to teach their ibs classes, it a distilled version of all Dr. Traina taught us (my brother and me). He was a great man and his legacy lives on. I would LOVE to overhear his conversation with the Father about atonement....about now!
