Sally McGuffey Obituary

STANFORD - Sally Jayne McGuffey, 76, of Stanford passed away Thu at her residence. Born July 11, 1931 in Lincoln Co, she was the daughter of the late Jesse & Elsie Witt Faulkner. Sally was a licensed insurance agent for 40 years, member of the Highland Methodist Church and the widow of the late Doyle McGuffey. Survivors include three daughters, Jessica (David) Cornelius of Stanford, Kelly (Chris) Neskovski of Lebanon, Ohio and Becky (John) Cooper of Georgetown, Ky, one sister, Susan Gooch of Lexington, Ky. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11am Mon at Highland Methodist Church with Bro. Don Scilley officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sun from 6-8pm at Fox Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be H.R. Short Saufley, Dickie Faulkner, John Cooper, Chris Neskovski, David Cornelius & Raymond Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nancy McGuffey, JoAnn Davis, Jane McGuffey, Susie Langford, Becky Brickey & Debbie Collins. Dear Jessica,Kelly,and Becky, We are so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. We had so many good times, great laughs, with Sally and Doyle when we lived in Stanford. We loved being with them and visiting their home. Sally and Doyle will be missed by so many people. Bless you and your families. Marshall and Billy
