Samuel Paul Sears

Samuel Paul Sears, 56, husband of Diane Sears for 32 years, a lead supervisor of the custodial department of Tates Creek Senior High School and previously employed by Blue Grass Cigar Company and Taylor Tire Company, died Saturday May 17, 2003 at his residence. He was born Oct. 28, 1946 in Ferguson, KY to the late James Edward Sears and Betty Mae Kittrell Sears. He was a member of The Rock/ The Roca at Epworth United Methodist Church. He is also survived by a step mother, Dorothy Mae Burton, Somerset, KY Daughters, Mary Anne Hasaballa and her husband Amad; Elizabeth Jean Miller, Joyce Elaine Millwood and a son James Edwin Sears and his wife Mindy all of Lexington. Grandchildren Christopher Bishop, Angela Yvonne Bishop, Brandon Wayne Bishop, Ronelle Elizabeth Miller, Chrisderburg Holman, Jerod Sears, Brittany Rae Anne Sears. Sister Orieda Freeman, Burnside, KY, Norma Jean Girdler and her husband Lonnie, Somerset, KY, Jo Ann Norton and her husband Bill, Somerset, KY, Wanda Harbour and her husband Jeff, Louisiana. Brothers, Robert Sears and his wife Edeltraut, Cincinnati, Ohio, Lemuel Sears and his wife Linda, Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve Sears and his wife Diedre, Richmond, KY, Michael Sears and his wife Vanessa, Somerset, Frank Sears, Florida; a sister-in-law Jean Sears, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his Grandson Joshua Millwood, brothers, James Richardson Sears and Zane Jefferson Sears and a large extended family family from the Tates Creek Senior High School Campus. Services 1:30 pm Wednesday May 21, 2003 at the Rock/La Roca at Epworth United Methodist Church by Rev. Wes Olds and Dr. Harold W. Dorsey. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens to follow.
