Dear Marijo and Family,
I was truly shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. It seems like only a short time ago we were all at UK and in the Pharm.D. program. We learned much from our faculty -- but also much from each other.
Tom's career touched the lives and health of so many. He will be deeply missed. My sympathy to all of you -- friends, family, and colleagues -- at this time of this profound sadness.

Tom's passion for life, family and the profession of pharmacy were evident every day of his life-This loss leaves a hole in the hearts of his colleagues and friends that will always be an empty space, reminding us of how blessed we were to have been touched by his leadership, smile, encouragement and wisdom. His strength of character and professionalism will be held onto in our memories forever. Please know how deeply sorry we are for your family in this time of such loss.

Dear Marijo,
Several short years ago, Tom talked to our Thursday noon Rotary Club about what we thought was a quirky subject relating to computers. Some of us thought he must have invented a new dental medicine when he said that the next big thing was something called "Blue Tooth." But since then we have seen how right he was, and how he seemed to see into the future, reassuring all of us friends that no matter what might happen in the world, we could all work together to make it a better place. He never greeted me wih anything but that bright smile and happy eyes that seemed to see right into one's soul, with a knowledge and a sense for saying the right words to forever make this a more normal yet memorable day. He was a model of our "Four-Way Test," living his life to make life "beneficial for all concerned." No one ever met him who was not better for having done so. We will miss those bright eyes and that wise smile. We will miss this truly wonderful man. God bless you and the family.

Dear Maryjo & family
My deepest sympathy. Throughout Tom's career he was a good friend, a fellow sailor, and very special colleague. His contribution to pharmacy was unparalleled. I will miss him as will the profession. He passed far too young.
