Dale E. Raether

Algoma - Dale E. Raether, 77, of Algoma passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Door County Medical Center. He was born January 27, 1944 in Algoma to the late Myron and Violet (Schmidt) Raether. After graduation from high school in 1962, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight mechanic. From there he went on to work as a flight mechanic for Delta Airlines at Houston International Airport, Houston, Texas, and Tampa International Airport, Tampa, Florida until his retirement in 2000. Dale had a lifelong interest in flight, and built and flew many radio controlled airplanes.

He is survived by a daughter Jenifer, Texas; and two brothers, Wayne and Leon, Algoma.

Dale's wishes were to have no public service.
