David Francis Douglas

Casco - David Francis Douglas, 42, Casco, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center after a brief illness. David was born on February 27, 1978 in Green Bay, the son of Terry and Irene (Luebstorf) Douglas. He was very proud of his son, Harley and loved spending time with him. He was a very talented and accomplished handy man working construction on both the residential and commercial side. David was a sports guy and enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Packers or anything outdoors as he was always in his element. He also loved spending time and playing with his Pitbulls: Dawg and Roxie. His greatest passion however, was his shared interest in motorcycles with his brother Steve, he loved hitting the open road.

David is survived by his son: Harley, his parents: Terry and Irene Douglas, one brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Sara Wauters. He is further survived by, Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Laurie Douglas,

There will be no visitation prior to the Service. A Mass of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. 1412 Main Street Luxemburg, with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating and Rev. Bob Karuhn as the homilist. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established in his name. The family would like to offer a special note of appreciation to the First Responders, Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Aurora at Home Hospice and those special Angels who helped care for David during his final days.
