Judith Amelia Wells

Judith Key West - Wells Amelia (Pellicier) Wells Judith Amelia Pellicier Wells (Judy) of Key West, Florida went to be with the lord on Oct 7, 2023, at the age of 89. Judy was born August 31, 1934 to parents, Charles (Floney) and Persis Pellicier. The Eldest of three children - Judy spent the entirety of her life in Key West, a proud 3rd generation Conch and graduate of K.W.H.S Class of 1952.

In 1955 Judy married Charles Wells Jr and together they raised their three Children - Charles Wells III (Chuck), Steven and Robyn Wells. Judy retired from lengthy careers at both, Keys Energy Services (previously known at City Electric) and the City of Key West, where she worked in the Fire Department administration office.

Judy was an avid reader and loved spending her free time between the pages of a good novel. Judy was a proud member of The Basilica of St Mary's Star of the Sea and although not as of late, for many years - Saturday night mass followed by dinner with friends was regular enjoyment for her.

Judy will be missed dearly and her unwavering love for family and friends will live on in our hearts.

She is survived by her three children Chuck (Gene) Wells of Deland, FL, Steven (Denise) Wells and Robyn Wells, all of Key West, FL. Her loving Grandchildren Andrea, Lauren and Steven Wells (Cristina Synder) and two great grandchildren, Cameron Briones and Remi Gurnicz. Her brother, Charles (Jeannie) Pellicier of Mt. Dora, FL and numerous other family members and close friends.

She is preceded into death by her husband, her parents, her sister Nancy Pellicier Grass, and her grandsons, Shane and Jonathan Wells.

A memorial mass will be held to honor Judy at a later date; TBD - the family will share the information once details are finalized. In lieu of flowers, please honor Judy by donating to the Key West firefighters Local 1424.
