Georgette Conatser Obituary

Georgette "Jet" Conatser, 78, of King City, California; peacefully passed away on February 11, 2026 at home in the mountains of North Carolina with loved ones by her side.

Georgette was the daughter of George and Violet Paul; born in Orlando, Florida on March 29, 1948. She was one of four children. The family was a military family, with her father serving and retiring from the United States Airforce, which took the family to many places around the world. Her fondest memories of childhood were often set in England with her Nanny, cousins and siblings. Georgette was a proper and modest woman who enjoyed a good laugh. During the summer of 1967 Georgette met Danny Conatser in Florida and just three months later, he asked Georgette's mother for permission to marry her daughter. Georgette and Danny married in King City, California on December 28, 1967.

Georgette spent much of her life being a devoted wife to Danny, who passed on in 2022, a doting mother to her two children and a loving nanny to her three grandchildren.

Georgette worked alongside her husband for many years keeping the books for Conatser Welding and Machine which allowed her to spend the afternoons with her grandkids and have dinner on the table at 5 when Danny got home. In her spare time she loved to garden, grow her artistic talents, and pass the days with her loved ones. She was an animal lover, often taking in the strays and giving them a home. Most of all she loved her three grandchildren and being a nanny to them.

In the summer of 2012 Georgette was diagnosed with diverticulitis, and due to complications from this disease, which took much of her energy it created many lifestyle changes for her. Through it all she still continued to travel, be a loyal companion to those in her life, and smile and be present for all of her loved ones' life celebrations.

In Georgette's recent years she has been cared for by her daughter Carri and son in law Paul Northcutt. She spent her last days watching the birds fly overhead and the deer and turkeys play in the field from her deck with her cat Milkshake.

Georgette is preceded in death by her husband Danny; her parents, George and Violet; her sister, Virginia; and brothers, Robert and David.

Georgette is survived by her two children, Carri (and Paul) Northcutt and Christopher (and Christina) Conatser; as well as her three grandchildren, Chloe, Calee, and Nash. Georgette will be brought home to be laid to rest with her beloved Danny on the 13th of March. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to SCAR or your local animal shelter.
