Alice Eatmon Obituary

Alice Heins Eatmon, 87, died peacefully with her daughters by her side on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

She was a devoted mother and wife who adored all her family. She was born in Kingstree, SC, and attended Kingstree High School where she was a cheerleader. She also held the title of Miss Williamsburg County.

Alice married Edward Eatmon, her high school sweetheart, on January 28, 1961. They shared almost 60 years together. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and decorator who made holidays, birthdays, and special occasions festive and magical.

She believed in Jesus Christ and instilled this belief in her children. Alice, like most people from Kingstree, loved the Black River. She spent time there many days praying and finding peace in its beauty.

Alice was predeceased by her mother Virginia Gee, father Dalton Gee, husband Edward Eatmon, and sister Mary (Winnie) Wilkie.

She is survived by her daughters Alicia and Kelley Eatmon, sisters Anne Koenig and Virginia (Ginny) Gee, brother Beau Gee, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Lexington Medical Center and MSA Hospice for the kindness, respect, and dignity shown to all of us.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Kingstree Cemetery Fund, 400 N. Academy St., Kingstree, SC 29556. Online condolences may be sent to the family on the obituary page on our website, www.WilliamsburgFuneralHome.com.
