Eunice Smith Obituary

KINSTON - Eunice Whaley Smith, 92, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, at Harmony Hall in Kinston. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Pink Hill Funeral Home followed by visitation. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Boyette and husband George, of Kinston, Faye Whitman and husband Steve of Kenansville; brother Norman Whaley of Pink Hill; granddaughters Sherry Yourdon and Kimberly Tapp of Kinston; grandsons Robbie and Steven Whitman of Kenansville; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons. Kim, Mrs. Christine, Mr. George, Mrs. Faye, and Mr. Steve: I only had the pleasure of knowing and taking care of Mrs. Eunice for a short time, but it was a sincere pleasure to have know her and take care of her. I am going to truly miss her as well as seeing each of you. Your family is and will be in my prayers.
