Herbert Waller Obituary

KINSTON | Herbert Leslie Waller Jr., 68, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivo Dean Butler Waller and Herbert Leslie Waller. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye Marshburn Waller of the home; daughter, Amy Waller Gainey and husband Jimmy, of Seven Springs; son, Michael Eric Waller and wife Leah, of Hillsborough; grandchildren, Emma Kathryn Gainey, Neva Faye Waller and Herbert Russell Waller; sister, Judy Harris of Kinston; his sweet companion, dog Jake; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating. Visitation will follow after the services and other times at the home. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston. Herb was a great man. loved his Family the outdoors, and could cook a great fish stew. I had the pleasure to work with Herb for over 9 years, he could be funny at times but serious in his job. down to earth kinda guy. he will truly be missed. prayers for the Family.
