I was introduced to Mike by a neighbor who said he was a great guy. He kept the neatest yard. I was a bit concerned when I saw him a few years back on a step stool snipping off dead flowers from his pink dogwood tree, so it would bloom more profusely. He was a bit unsteady, but kept at it (kept checking that he hadn't fallen off). Saw him at the school a lot, volunteering. He was a great neighbor and his loss is a loss to our community.

A great neighbor who had such a commitment to teaching kids. Always nice and showed up with wine at parties! We will miss him and his community contributions.
