William John "Bill" Charles, 59, passed away April 3, 2018 in Bremerton, WA. Bill was born January 28, 1959 in Bremerton, WA to Delbert Charles Sr. and Janice Webster-Charles. Bill is survived by his wife Christy Charles, daughters Sylvia Charles, Alicia Cagey, son Levi Tillman, brothers Delbert Charles Jr, Bone Redbird, sisters Rosemary Fulton, Robin Newman, and Juanita Holtyn, and seven grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Mildred "Mitzie" Charles and Francis Charles. For 16-years Bill worked as a security officer at the Port Gamble S'Klallam tribe's Point Casino. Bill was also a fisherman by trade. Bill loved to work in his garden and he enjoyed going camping at the ocean. Bill was a very friendly and had a great sense of humor and is known for his big smile. Bill is loved by many in his community and his place of work. He adored his family and grandchildren and his family will miss him tremendously. A private viewing was held on April 7, 2018. A memorial service was held at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Gym on April 10, 2018.
