ANDREW TAYLOR O'NEIL

O'NEIL, ANDREW TAYLOR - September 02, 1991 - September 09, 2014. Andrew graduated from Hurricane High School in West Virginia, valedictorian, class of 2010. Andrew was an Eagle Scout with highest honors and Vigil Honor in Order of the Arrow. Andrew graduated in 3 1/2 years with a B.S. in biology from Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, in 2013. He had started graduate school at Clemson University in August 2014. Andrew had a true zest for life. He was an intellectual, humorist, a naturalist, friend, and teacher to all. Andrew is survived by his parents, Michael and Barbara O'Neil of Knoxville, TN, and a brother, Alex of New York City, NY. He will be missed by anyone who had an opportunity to meet him. A memorial service was held on October 2 in Hurricane, WV. In addition a private memorial service was held at Maryville College on September 29.
