ARLENE AMBER ABBOTT

ABBOTT, ARLENE AMBER - age 88, of Lenoir City, TN, formerly of the Panama Canal Zone, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 13, 2012. Arlene served in the Womens Army Corp during WWII. She retired in July 1979 from her Civil Service career, where she held the position of Supply Clerk Supervisor, Corozal Self Service Supply Center, US Army, Panama. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, Lesley Pilgrim and Sophia Hahn Pilgrim. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Ofelia Abbott, Gary and Gail Abbott; granddaughters, Kisa Abbott, Stephanie Abbott and Pilar Crespo; grandsons, Stephen Abbott, Christopher Abbott, and Francisco Crespo; great granddaughters, Bailey Jeffrey, Sofia Bistrain, Isabel Bistrain and Rebecca Crespo. The family wishes to thank Arlene's special caretakers, Nancy Carter, Brenda Wade, the staff at River Oaks Place and Summit View Farragut, for the sincere and compassionate care they provided.
