Berkley Lee Dennis, 82, of Oak Ridge, went home to the Lord Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. Berkley served our country for 20 years in the US Air Force and two in the U.S. Navy. He worked at ORNL where he retired from in the late 1990's. Berkley always enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, camping, and was an avid reader.

His parents, Claude and Lois Dennis; his son, Michael Craig Dennis; and his step-son, Randy Kirby King all preceded Berkley in death. Berkley is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years Louise Dennis; his children and their spouses, Lori (Joe) Dew of Karns, Lisa (Tommy) Henson of Knoxville, and Mark Dennis of Panama City, FL; his step-children and their spouses, Jeannie (Zane) Reed of Oliver Springs, Julie King of Knoxville, and Calvin (Elizabeth) King of Knoxville; a dozen grandchildren, Bryson Henson, Haley and Hannah Dew, Amber Dennis, Chelsea, Patrick, Jonathon, and Aaron Dennis, Mark, Bryan, and Jeffery Reed, and Zachery Hammer.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Wells, of Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Hospital, for his professional service and exceptional care. The family appreciates all the thought and prayers. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Graveside service will be Monday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
