Alcoa, TN
Brenda Sue Brookshire, age 71, of Alcoa, passed away,Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Morning View Transitional Care in Maryville. She worked in the insurance business for many years. Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Ruth Jordan; and grandson, Austin Hitch. Survivors include her husband, Marshall Brookshire; daughter, Angie Hitch Bulman; sons, Mike Hitch, Jeff (Tracy) Hitch; granddaughters, Alyssa Hitch, Jessica (Hunter) Mitchell; sisters, Beverly (John) Hard, Patricia (Richard) Thompson, Delores Jean (Sam) Matthews, Judy (Don) Ailey, Debbie Kirkland; and special friends, Rodney and Rhonda Best. Special thanks to all the staff at Morning View Transitional Care Center. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Bill Ailey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Highland South Memorial Gardens for the graveside service and interment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org
