Carl Raby Obituary
Corryton - Carl Edward Raby, age 73, of Corryton went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2020. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was a Viet Nam Veteran serving in the United States Army.
He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church where he especially loved his men's bible study class.
Preceded in death by his parents Rev. Clarence H Raby and Louise Raby; infant son Carl; his brother Raymond and sister Brenda.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Faye Raby; daughters, Tina (Davy) Keys and Angie (Chris) Jenkins; sisters, Pat Wampler and Wilma Millsaps; brothers, Cotton and Kenny Raby; beloved grandchildren, Lindsey & Austin Patrick, Matthew Jenkins, Kody Keys and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A call of convenience for Carl will be held Friday, January 1, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37938. A private Celebration of Life service will be held due to the public health concerns of Covid-19 with Rev. Danny Neal officiating.
